Haggis

With a long tradition, the 2009 edition of the Celtic Classic Haggis Eating Competition is nearly upon us. The competitors travel from as far away as Alaska for the honor of holding the title of “Celtic Classic Haggis Eating Champion.”
Fiddle

The Celtic Classic Fiddle Competition takes place in the historic Charles A. Brown Ice House, an indoor venue on the grounds of the Celtic Classic. This is a unique contest focused specifically on Celtic fiddling styles.
Highland

Come and watch as this year’s 2010 competitors perform feats of strength, speed, agility and skill which were once commonplace during the various fairs, clan gatherings, and tainchels, or great hunts, of medieval Scotland.

Pipe Bands

Since the beginning, Celtic Classic has sponsored an unsanctioned pipe band competition, inviting some of the best pipe bands to come and thrill the crowds and compete for a purse. From the first day of the Festival to the last, the pipes and drums can be heard.
