Sign-ups now online! With a long tradition, the 2010 edition of the Celtic Classic Haggis Eating Competition will be something to see. The competitors travel from as far away as Alaska for the honor of holding the title of “Celtic Classic Haggis Eating Champion.”

The 2010 Celtic Classic Fiddle Competition takes place in the historic Charles A. Brown Ice House, an indoor venue on the grounds of the Celtic Classic. This is a unique contest focused specifically on Celtic fiddling styles.

Come and watch as this year’s 2010 competitors perform feats of strength, speed, agility and skill which were once commonplace during the various fairs, clan gatherings, and tainchels (great hunts) of medieval Scotland.

The Gaelic phrase sean nós means old style. It generally refers to songs sung unaccompanied in the Gaelic language in the most traditional style of a given area.
