The Celtic Cultural Alliance is presenting a two-part lecture focused on Celtic Immigration to Pennsylvania. Dr. Patrick Grubbs, PhD, Professor of History at Northampton County Community College will give these lectures. The presentations will be focused on how immigration from Celtic Nations influenced the history of Pennsylvania and the development of industry during the Industrial Revolution. Special attention will be on the Welsh and slate mining as well as the Irish and coal mining.
