Volunteers
Volunteers are the very heart of our events. We recognize that volunteers are the key to our success, and we deeply appreciate the efforts of so many who join us each year to get the job done. We are especially grateful to our volunteers who demonstrate a great “people-friendly” demeanor, are familiar with all aspects of their assigned job(s), and who wear a smile all weekend long…
In exchange for an exclusive volunteer t-shirt and the opportunity to be a part of the Celtic Classic, we ask our volunteers to attend pre-festival orientations, show up for your shift 15 minutes early, and be respectful of fellow volunteers, festival staff, performers, and especially our patrons.
Easier to use than ever before, our new online registration form makes signing up to volunteer for the Celtic Classic almost as much fun as actually volunteering. Please, before registering, know that:
- Complete contact information helps us greatly when scheduling.
- Please read all job descriptions carefully, even if you have previous Celtic Classic volunteer experience. Changes are made from year to year.
- We try hard to accommodate individual schedule requests; however, it is impossible to grant every request, because positions are assigned on a first-come, first-scheduled basis, and because the job you desire may have already been assigned.
- All volunteers will be notified of their Celtic Classic assignments, including orientation dates, via e-mail. It is then up to you to notify us about any changes in your availability.
- Please, NO alcohol consumption immediately before or during your volunteer shift.
